World governance
AAHA governance context
This page operates within AAHA’s five-level governance structure: Crown/The Royal Advisory Team, Royal Advisory Team, Advisory Circles, International Order of AAHA, and a separate country-governance model for departments, companies, institutions and citizens/Aahans.
Concept
The .ah vision
.ah is imagined as a concise digital home for a future approved AAHA country: public institutions, trusted services, local organisations and cultural identity. A national domain could also support consistent security and registration policies.
The string is a vision, not a domain AAHA can currently issue. This website does not sell or reserve .ah names.
Current status
What the root database shows
The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority maintains the authoritative Root Zone Database for top-level domains. At the time this page was prepared, .ah was not listed as a delegated top-level domain.
AAHA links to the live IANA database below so readers can verify the status rather than relying on a screenshot or undated claim.
Research
A responsible registry design
If a lawful path becomes available, AAHA would need an eligible sponsoring organisation, competent technical operations, nameserver resilience, abuse handling, data protection, registrar rules, rights protection and continuity funding. Public-interest domains for government and essential services may require reserved namespaces.
Registration policy should support local identity without enabling scams or speculative capture of names.
Interim position
Until delegation exists
AAHA will continue using domains delegated through existing lawful internet systems. Any unofficial subdomain or token styled as .ah should be treated according to its actual technical and legal status.
Future updates will identify the exact official process, submitted materials and external decisions if the eligibility position changes.
